Students at this level are able to deliver simple productions in present tense, express fellings and sensations, describe people and places and handle real situations using simple phrases and requests.
Goals: This level gives the students many more tools and vocabulary to build their own expressions in present tense. At the end of Initial I, they can talk about their daily routine, likes and interests and express their opinion in a fluent way. They start to deal with future and continuous tenses. Their wider diversity of verb modes and tenses let them express more complex ideas in both written and oral productions.
Students starting this level at BSL, use present, continuous and future tenses. They can deal with simple situations and make their own written and oral productions. They are capable of talking about their daily rutine, likes and interests and hold simple conversations with fluency.
Goals: At this level students acquire more complex skills that make their productions sophisticated and increase their comprehension. They are able to use three of the four past tenses, acknowledge their differences and combine them with accuracy. The complexity of this level requires lot of practise. The use of reading material becomes vital. Written productions are now more frequent to strengthen their speaking skills.
